At this point, I worry more about the police and national guard, plus fascist militias that the police give free reign during protests. But there's also an extreme and growing fascist evangelical movement within the military, whose young undereducated and often rudderless recruits are easy prey for the Christian cult that works around Trump. The fascist Christians who support Trump are very active in Huntington Beach and have and will continue to influence city council elections. They are ruining the city and will ruin the country and are full on for WWIII to begin via the Middle East as part of their self-fulfilling Armageddon fantasies. Everybody should read the late Kevin Phillips' book, American Theocracy to see what's coming and where it came from.
