As I was reading your advice to the president I kept recalling the scene in Scorsese's The Irishman (2019) where an aging and enfeebled Robert De Niro, playing a much younger Frank Sheeran, beats up on a store clerk for not being nice to his daughter. He has the guy down on the curb and he's kicking him ... sort of kicking him, that is (because at age 75 he can hardly keep his balance with one leg lifted). I get it. I'm 79, and I know what it is to have diminished equilibrioception. But it makes the scene rather pathetic ... and that's what Joe Biden's "relentless assault" on Trump would be tomorrow if he were to try to take your advice. Pathetic.
