Genocide or not, it makes no difference to the 33k (probably 43k if missing bodies count) people who have been murdered by Bibi and his religious fascist colleagues as they procede to also make Gaza uninhabitable for returning survivors. And, yes, that was done with Biden's help--he could have started his tough love act a lot sooner, for whatever it's worth. Our policy toward Israel has never been near right except briefly under Jimmy Carter---the war did not start on Oct. 7. Hamas is partly Bibi's baby and they are two sides of the same coin, but Bibi's side gets all the polish in our mainstream media. I'm ashamed of my country as a whole for this and much more. Biden is a horrible choice for president. It's a fucked up world and it would make me sick to vote for him, but I will because it might make life more possible for my grandchildren and great grandchildren and a lot of other people's. I hope I can still believe that when I'm 90 (69 now).

As I read recently somewhere, probably digbysblog, the Biden-Trump choice is like choosing between the chicken meal and the shit platter garnished with ground glass.

"My less than politically mature fellow progressives and liberals are getting their rocks off chanting “Genocide Joe.” F-ck you. If Genocide Joe had refused sending billions more in aid and stopped sending Israel more weapons without Congressional approval this would have already been over.
