When are the liberal justices going to go public with a warning?

That majority of black robed theocrats and pet poodles for the rich on the Supreme Court have gone completely rogue and have turned into an extremist law-making and law-breaking cabal. They have smashed every norm as have the MAGA leadership and toadies.

My question: What's wrong with the three nice liberal ladies on the court minority?They are some very smart and sharp jurists. Sotomayor can be a flame thrower. They write beautiful dissents but those are read and seen by a few hundred people and remain lost except to future scholars and have less than zero political impact, reducing the reasonable minority to window dressing adornments for what is a virulently anti-democratic court..

When are these three liberals going to take the next step, break the already shattered norms, and PUBLICLY speak out on the Christian-Nationalist-Authoritarian gaggle led by the Alito-Thomas faction of the highly reactionary anti-democratic majority. Don't they owe the country a clear warning of what is being cooked up in the offices down the hall? Comity among your soul-less and CORRUPT colleagues is NOT more important than defense of the rule of law and democracy.

I like my idea, but it’s not going to happen because I am sure the three libs are totally bought into the supposed awe-inspiring "majesty" of the stinking institution they are now part of. Some majesti sewer that has become!

The court decision was abhorrent. Not because it restored Trump to the Colorado ballot (a foregone conclusion) but because it blocked forever states from ever suspending the candidacy of any other insurrectionists running for any federal office -- like the House. And they rule that congress alone can disqualify a presidential candidate but make no provisions for the process to do so. Intellectually insulting and politically offensive.

And to not much surprise, these Trump ass-lickers refused to even consider the question, let alone affirm, that Trump was the hub of an insurrectionary plot to illegally stay in power.

The court also is continuing without valid reason to drag out this whole process as long a possible to save Trump’s ample ass from a pre-election federal trial.

If Trump is elected again, the Supreme Court will become a primary ally and partner in building and enforcing an authoritarian state. Indeed, they are already in power and have a head start on The Great Orange Genius. They are further down the road to illiberalism than he is.

In Israel, when BiBI tried to corrupt the supreme court he was met by street demonstrations and protests by hundreds of thousands who nearly forced him out of office till he was saved by Hamas.. They knew a dysfunctional court would stem democracy. Here, when the Court makes itself morally insupportable and anti-democratic, millions of Americans shrug their shoulders and ask when does the next Bachelor episode air? ++++

I want to keep Coop Scoop alive and if possible free for the entire campaign. But that depends on you. Across the board funding is becoming very difficult for any and all journalism, especially this independent genre.
