Coop Scoop Podcast: How Much Does It Matter Who Is In the White House?
With Suzi Weissman and Robert Brenner.

The tumultuous fallout from Joe Biden’s hideous debate performance continues with no let up. It’s anybody’s guess as to how this will shake out. IMHO it better shake out one way or another pretty fast because time is short and voters are confused and bewildered.
I stated earlier this week that I can live with or without Biden as the candidate and I readily admit to not knowing if that would improve or detract from the opportunity to defeat Donald Trump. I do know that at the moment I have waning confidence in Biden. And three new polls show us two important data points. Biden is starting to slowly leak support in key areas. Kamala Harris polls pretty much like Biden does, no drop off.
Below find a really good one hour discussion with me and UCLA History Prof. Emeritus Robert Brenner conducted by Professor Suzi Weissman, for Jacobin Radio, trying to look at the much bigger context of this election…beyond this or that nominee and what we see coming down the pike as the global order shifts and American democratic institutions wobble and decompose.

I don’t want to bang the cup too hard but we are in an emergency funding crunch and it is not clear if the Coop Scoop can be properly sustained till November.
