The 2024 presidential campaign was upended and reshuffled on Sunday when President Joe Biden effectively ceded his 2024 nomination to Kamala Harris.

This might have changed everything (I think it did). Or it might not. But the dynamic of the race has been totally scrambled and now it is Young Vs Old, Woman Vs. Sex Abuser, Prosecutor Vs. Felon awaiting more trials. Feels a bit better!

We’ve got a lot to talk about! So please join me on Zoom this coming Monday July 29 at 5pm PDT (8pm EDT).

IMPORTANT NOTE: This will be the inaugural weekly or bi-weekly zoom town hall on campaign 2024 on The Coop Scoop.

This first meeting will be open to ALL SUBSCRIBERS, FREE AND PAID.

Subsequent zoom meetings about the election will be open only to paid.

There are currently about 400 subscribers who at some point donated through a non-substack platform i.e. paypal mostly, and some with venmo or zelle and whose donation, shall we say, “expired.” That is unless you are someone who donated in the $100 range. I am not referring to folks who have donated this calendar year.

If you are one of these paypal or venmo donors and you have not made another contribution in the last 6 mos. or more, I am asking you now to make a new one now so I can mark you “paid.” I do not have the time or desire to paw through hundreds of lines on a data base to see when this or that person donated and therefore set some time limit as to when you are still “good” and start dunning you. No way!

In short, if you gave $25 or so a year or two ago, it’s time to chip in again. OK? Thanks in advance.

I am going to start keeping track now so there is more precision in the sub process. So again, if you want to be fully plugged in for the rest of the election plse renew your donation now.

To free subscribers: I am struggling to keep all content free and so I will continue to do so as long as possible. But after this first Zoom meeting, you will need to be a paid subscriber to participate in the following online gatherings. So this is an excellent time to do so and be ready for the rest of the campaign season. Thanks.
