Coop Scoop: Gregor Strasser, Tucker Carlson, the "Socialist" Nazis, and our Twitter Left
Carlson was not an anti-war hero. He was and is a Fascist agitator

“Socialist” Nazi Gregor Strasser with his pal Adolph.
I’m not going to give more oxygen to the headless, mind-blowing tweets and statements issued in the past two weeks by a small pack of atomized leftists who are heatedly lamenting the firing of Tucker Carlson and who are defending his putrid record of political statements. You are gonna have to take my word for it that I am characterizing their words properly (a little bit farther below).
Maybe they will pull back after reading Wednesday’s hair-raising article that reprinted one of the most noxious texts from Carlson imaginable. This is the one where he comes off like a political commissar of the old South African National Party, brimming with observations about how “white men fight” (cleanly of course) compared to how lower races fight (dirty of course).
That did not stop him from cheering on what he called a “mob” of white thugs “beating the shit” out of an ANTIFA member (supposedly) and it certainly didn’t hold him back from expressing his desire that the mob “kill” their subject, a possible outcome that Tucker said he could “taste.”
We don’t know if this, soft, pudgy, repugnant reprobate tucked his weenie back into his pants after finishing writing that screed with one hand, but we do know that it was repugnant enough that even the shriveled-up gargoyle of an oligarch, Rupert Murdoch, found it to be cause to immediately dump his $15 million a year wonder boy.
Now, to his “leftist” cheering section. It’s primary leaders are Glenn Greenwald, Jimmy Dore, Aaron Maté and Greenwald’s new pet lap dog, Lee Fang. Before I go any deeper, let me clarify what I mean in this case as “Leftist.” These guys come out of the left and probably still identify as such, though only God knows how Greenwald would answer nowadays. They all share a new, metastasizing conspiracy theory that has been best flushed out by Greenwald ally Matt Taibbi who recently defined the enemy of freedom as the “Censorship Industrial Complex” – the CIC. These Twitter militants work with no political party. They are affiliated with no political movements. They advocate for none. Basically, they just grift fellow leftists who are sadly searching for some fountain of truth to cling to and wind up forking over way too money to the substack, Rumble and Yotube enterprises run by these self-appointed Tribunes of the Masses who, just like Fox News, specialize not so much in facts but rather in telling their naive audiences what they want to hear (Like an endless loop how only the US and the CIA have agency in this world).
Sorry, you Marxists and other political scientists who have mistakenly held for years that the true ruling class in America was the financial-industrial elite, allied with the military and using supple politicians as their puppets. WRONG!! You just didn’t know that the most powerful, most dangerous people in America are some federal bureaucrats and some campaign workers who asked Twitter over the last five years to consider downplaying or blocking the tweets of various insurrectionists, violent extremists, medical quacks and related flotsam.
This Twitter Left gang has turned this into a cause celebre and Greenwald and Taibbi are now going so far to suggest that Trump was defeated in 2020 because Twitter had refused to link –for 24 hours—to that now radioactive New York Post piece about Hunter Biden’s laptop – a device probably about as significant as Al Capone’s cave. Now, link this to the Greenwald-Taibbi tale that absolutely nothing happened between Trump and Russia and you get what Greenwald now calls the Hoax of the Century...unlike of course The Big Lie. Or several other murderous hoaxes of the last 100 years, like, say, the accusation by Hitler that Jews are animals to be slaughtered. I mean, what’s a little holocaust compared to the attempt to take down Tweets injurious to public health in the midst of a killer pandemic?
That the Mueller report made it VERY clear that Trump was playing footsie with Russia and that he had on eight or ten occasions engaged in obstruction to cover it up, seems to have not entered the ears or consciousness of Greenwald and Company who claim with a stright face that anything whatsoever connecting Trump or his campaign to Russia is but a media/deep state false flag.
This aberrant position on the “Russia Hoax” therefore leads them to the next conclusion that the entirety of the American media is now guilty of censoring this most important history of our time. Greenwald gave himself permission, then, to trash Nicole Wallace on MSNBC as the worst, most horrible journalist in America because she spent so much time on the Russia interference stories and now, even more damning, her show has become the most reliable daily source of news on the processes around January 6. That gal is jus craaazzzy, so obsessed with that nice man down in Mar-a-Lago.
I am boring you with this level of detail because SO many people have asked me how Greenwald and other “lefties” became butt buddies with such a deplorable asshole as Carlson. It’s a logical progression once you conclude that the media, MSNBC and Nicole Wallace are the enemies of the people! It’s certainly s POV compatible with Carlson who used to spew the same horse shit in prime time every night.
So we get tweets from GG, Fang and their comrades about how Carlson was such a stalwart anti-war voice, how he did not flinch from criticizing corporations and even chiding the capitalist system now and then. What a great loss his removal has been for American society, says Greenwald, because his firing flattens out the media world, leaving only obedient mouthpieces of the Deep State left in the Fourth Estate, Tucker’s voice was unique, we are told, because he was tough on everybody, took no partisan side, and was a courageous truth teller who was canned for telling too many truths.
In fact, Carlson was canned by a grotesque right-wing anti-American oligarch who has shit for decades all over the U.S., the UK and Australia precisely because even he was offended by the unbridled, I would say perverse, racial animus and hatred demonstrated by a prime time host who apparently is even more off his rocker than previous thought. Whatever Murdoch thinks, he did not want Carlson’s text/s to be read aloud in court lest Fox sound even more like a Klan newsletter.
Tucker Carlson helmed the most racist show on American television. He systematically inculcated his nightly three million followers in tightly-orchestrated campaigns of fear and loathing not only of immigrants but of, frankly, anybody who is not white. One can debate the precise definition of “fascist” but whatever it is, no question that Carlson is as close an example as anyone, especially anyone with his high profile perch. He was and is the leading proponent in the United States of the Nazi-born Theory of Replacement which, arguably, can be suggested as the motive for several mass shootings of the last couple of years. Let’s also not forget that Carlson had no hesitation throwing an occasional dart at George Soros. And, please, do not go into denial. Every conscious attack on Soros is an act of deliberate and conscious anti-Semitism. No accident that Carlson is a sycophant of Hungarian prop-fascist leader Viktor Orban. And among Carlson’s three million viewers, I would guess that not more than 5% of them — at most— know any single fact about Soros other than he is a Jew. And that’s enough to hate him.
I was wondering last night just how the Twitter Left gang would have been assessing the early Nazis of the 1930’s. The SA, better known as the Brown Shirts, was the violent, street brawling Nazi paramilitary whose primary goal in the 1920’s and 30’s was to smash windows, break up political rallies, beat up and occasionally kill Hitler’s real and imaginary enemies. These are the iconic stormtroopers. You know, the January 6 sort of actor.
Of course, political idiots like Jimmy Dore and Lee Fang have no idea that Hitler’s SS was actually run by what these bozos would call fellow leftists. SA Chief Ernst Rohm was part of a large faction of the Nazis who took the “socialist” label out of National Socialist, pretty seriously. They were all avowed anti-capitalists. They hated the “capitalist system” because, after all, they wanted to establish a new nationalist system via a “second revolution.” They were allied in this effort by two other prominent “socialist” Nazis, Gregor and Otto Strasser. Gregor Strasser was an intimate of Hitler and was considered for a time, the Number Two.
Strasser fell into disfavor along with Ernst not only because the German Army was jealous of the SA, but also because the SA had become too disruptive once Hitler was in power. Strasser at his side demanding social reforms also became a major annoyance and a suspect. So it was in early 1934 that Hitler’s Night of the Long Knives neatly dispatched Rohm, Strasser and about 1000 others to their afterlife. Adios, Nazi “socialists” less than a year after Hitler came to power.
What do u think? Would Greenwald and Fang and Dore lamented the murder of these hard-bitten Nazi leaders who were killed because Hitler stopped trusting them? Would Gregor Strasser, in spite of being in charge of organization of the national party, and Ernst Rohm who commandeered the bloody Brown Shirts now be praised as socialist martyrs? Who knows? I mean 1934 was still too early for Greenwald to have been sent to a camp as a Jew. He might have had a few successful years as an early German substacker bucking the conventional wisdom as he does today before he got into a mess.
What these mooks don’t get, is that throughout history right wing and authoritarian populist movements ALWAYS appeal to the working class! Carlson hardly re-invented the wheel. The Nazis called themselves the National Socialist Workers Party for a reason. Just like they called one of their earlier formations simply The Workers Party. In any society, it is the working class that carries the greatest social burdens and therefore is a logical and potentially rich target for agitation, recruitment and support. You don’t think that the fighting squads of Brown Shirts and Proud Boys are made up of doctors and accountants, do you? The Nazis were zealously embarked in a struggle to defeat the Communists and Socialists who both had solid working class support.
We see it with our own Republican Party and absolutely so with Trump. While financed in private by oligarchs, Trump’s entire pitch is aimed at the working class and, again, no mistake that Trump is adamant in opposing cuts to Medicare and social security. This hardly makes him a New Dealer but rather a cynical authoritarian trying to shore up his elderly and low income voter base. Tucker Carlson did not harrumph over the war against Ukraine because he is some sort of peacenik. He opposes the war because it is Democrat Joe Biden who is running it. Period. By any rational, dispassionate judgment, Tucker Carlson is basically a fascist agitator. And like ALL fascist agitators he makes occasional verbal nods to the working class.
I don’t mean here to suggest that these off the wall Twitter leftoids are the same ilk as Rohm, or Strasser or Hitler or, for that matter, Donald Trump (whom with everyday this crew is edging closer to endorse even If indirectly). Nope. There are vast differences among them. Rohm, Strasser and even Hitler, for that matter, got their hands dirty by freely mixing with the unwashed masses to whom they were preaching.
But Trump? Greenwald? Fang? Dore? The only workers they have ever talked to were their gardeners and nannies. +
Nailed it!
