THE COOP SCOOP: THE WEEK THAT WAS EDITION
OCTOBER 6, 2020
ISSUE #40
I will not insult your intelligence nor waste our time rehearsing all of the outrages of the last several days. You all know the facts because you have watched wide-eyed and/or read with astonishment and dismay all about the ongoing and surreal derailments, train crashes, thunderclaps and fireballs of This Week That Was.
The week in which Donald Trump – who now stands as a diseased, huffing and wheezing, fifth rate Mussolini, has lost the election. In just 27 more days the self-styled Il Duce – or better Il Doushie—will be metaphorically hung from his heels and then electorally beaten into oblivion.
From the exposé in the NYTimes about his manufactured career to his gross tax and bank fraud, to the grimace-inducing debate where he came off as a sweaty brutish crackhead, to his blithely spreading of COVID among his staff and donors, to his bizarre joy ride around Water Reed, his posing as a tin-pot dictator on the Trump balcony, the unprecedented stonewalling over his true state of health, right up until today, Tuesday, when he tweeted once again that COVID is no more than the flu followed by a directive to hold any new COVID relief package hostage till after his imaginary re-election, Trump has furiously used a top of the line John Deere dredger to dig himself into a very, very dark and lonesome hole. And this is before we even know if he will survive unscathed from his disease.
