Donald Trump got one thing right. He IS most certainly a war time president.
The American people are under a fierce and deadly siege. The new Tripartite Pact is waging a ferocious and bloody attack against us.
We have three enemies who have allied to kill as many of us as necessary to “keep the economy open.” Covid-19. President Donald J. Trump. And what I call that segment of the population Dumb Dumbfucks (or DD.s).
The virus would be bad enough. But the faltering idiot in the White House has made the strategic decision to lower all of our defenses while he plays golf and feeds his spreading fat ass with a record number of cheeseburgers. The DD’s, who in part only are absolved from guilt because Trump has provided no leadership, are the brigades that “party hearty” in crowded bars and bare their pinkish bellies to the sun on jam-packed beaches. They are that perennial 30% of the American population who have wooden planks for brains and who believe masks are part of a Deep State plot to disarm them.
This domestic war has penetrated a number of local and state governments. And we find Trumps’ leading pack of Field Marshals, the Unholy Trinity of the governors of Florida, Texas, and Arizona, DeSantis, Abbott and Ducey (pronounced properly as DOO-shee), who have pitched their states into a death spiral.
This newest Axis of Evil is a major contributor to the astounding statistic of more than 50,000 new cases PER DAY in the U.S. By comparison, the Chinese city of Wuhan had only 50,340 cases and 3900 deaths in total.

Back here in the homeland, our toll has how crossed 130,000 and the current death rate is still running at 2000 to 4000 per week and going up again. Do the math. That “low rate” or as Trump put it the other day the “one percent” of COVID victims who die, are checking out at the rate of 12,000 a month or around 150,000 per year. That conservative figure, of course, will go up unless there is a national shut-down – something that neither political party has the guts to support.
Note that Tom Bossert, a former National Security Advisor to the Fat Ass, predicted on Sunday Morning that if trends continue we will reach a half million dead by Christmas. Again, by comparison, the American death toll during all of World war II was 407,000. That took about four years. It is very very likely that no matter what happens in the immediate future, we are going to blow past that number within one year or so. I shudder to think what that toll will be four years into the pandemic, because COVID-19 now threatens to become endemic -- meaning ever present.
Just to get your attention: the number of Americans who have died so far from the pandemic is just about the same number of people who died the first day when the U.S. bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki (yes, there were approximately twice or more deaths that occurred over the following years). So, to say that we have been hit with the equivalent of two nuclear bombs is much if any of an exaggeration.

Some of my readers and friends have chided the Coop Scoop for being a little too dark. Excuse me, but I find little light in what is and what should be recognized as an Era of Mass Death. And for me, that is the single issue I am most focused on and I think it is the only one every other American should lock onto.
The probabilities of an American succumbing to COVID is now a higher risk than U.S. soldiers (and domestic citizens) faced from the Nazis' and Hirohito’s war machines 80 years ago. Hard to fathom, but true.
Mass death lies at the center of Commander Trump’s strategy to win the war and thereby the election in November. Widely reported is his strategy of Americans becoming totally indifferent to the mounting fatalities. He certainly is not going to do anything about it. That should be clear.
As the Washington Post put it:
“Trump’s advisers...are seeking ways to reframe his response to the coronavirus — even as the president himself largely seeks to avoid the topic because he views it as a political loser. They are sending health officials to swing states, putting doctors on TV in regional markets where the virus is surging, crafting messages on an economic recovery and writing talking points for allies to deliver to potential voters.
The goal is to convince Americans that they can live with the virus — that schools should reopen, professional sports should return, a vaccine is likely to arrive by the end of the year and the economy will continue to improve.
White House officials also hope Americans will grow numb to the escalating death toll and learn to accept tens of thousands of new cases a day, according to three people familiar with the White House’s thinking, who requested anonymity to reveal internal deliberations. Americans will “live with the virus being a threat,” in the words of one of those people, a senior administration official.”
